Airline safety info online

When you are travelling by air, it's nice to find out the safety record of your chosen airline. While the major airlines are pretty safe, what do you know of Kinshasa Airlines?

Luckily, there's quite a few resources available online.

Carriers that fly to the USA

The FAA has a list of carriers that meet it's standards. It lists only those carriers allowed to fly to the USA.

Other international airlines

The International Air Transport Association's site, lists member airlines with a passing grade from their audit of 251 members. Audit results can be ordered via email.

Airlines banned from the E.U.

The E.U. maintains a PDF list of airlines banned from European skies. About half are based in Congo!
