Lauris wedding vows

Joacim, I want to thank you today for being in the right place when I showed up in search of what turned out to be you, and also for joining me on the edge of this cliff.

Our presence here symbolizes the way I have always lived my life. Our witnesses can attest to that. I never really believed I'd find someone who would willingly indulge me in all my passion while keeping a hand on my shoulder so that I wouldn't slide over the edge. The night we met, you were already steadying me.

In you, I have met my match.

Before I knew you existed, I offered the universe many a dare. Sometimes I believe that this is what brought us together.

Everything about our union feels right. You are all I have ever wanted in a man and in a partner. I waited long enough to find you that no more waiting is necessary for us to begin our life. We've crossed oceans to be together.

I promise you that I will always:

• treat you with respect, kindness and loyalty
• trust you and continue to earn your faith in me
• fight alongside you through any rough patches that we encounter, cherish the good times and never take you for granted
• strive every day to be worthy of the love that you give me
• and ensure that our life is always full of adventure.
