Cooking in hotel rooms - Video
Written by Jack on 15 January, 2011 in Travel Tips.
Not sure I ever thought about cooking in a hotel room before. Well, British comedian George Egg has, and he's making English muffins and tortellini with rocket and egg in his hotel room:
It certainly makes for a fascinating video, and should be a pretty satisfying meal! Pretty clever use of the iron, but I'm not sure about abusing a kettle like that.
What do you think? Is cooking in hotel rooms an up and coming trend or just something certing goofballs would ever do?

Hi George, very cool of you stopping by. Good to hear the kettle didn't die from it :) I'll go check out your site now.

I am George Egg. Hello, and glad you're interested in my film.
Regarding the kettle it really didn't abuse it at all. A couple of rinses and I was boiling water in it to make tea again with no change to flavour.
