Frozen Fruit Margarita

If you'd like your Margarita fruitier, add some tasty fruit to the tequila drink.

Take a short glass. Wet the rim with lime juice and put the glass upside down in coarse salt so salt clings to the rim. Combine the ingredients for the Classic Margarita in a blender with very ripe fruit. Blend until smooth and pour into the glass.

  • 1-1/2 oz silver Tequila
  • 3/4 oz Triple Sec
  • 3/4 oz lime juice
  • Ripe fruit (6-7 oz fresh or 4 oz frozen)
  • 3/4 cup of ice

Shake and strain into the salt-rimmed glass and garnish with the lime slice.
