Just a couple of blogs listed today. I kinda like blogs, usually trite but sometimes interesting, like these:
A Finnish woman's diary
Kirsti talks about living around ASBO-families in Dublin:
"If little kids of 6 or 7 stay outside in the rain at 11 at night in November, something is wrong.
Ireland is in deep shit, if that is its future, those kids. Mind you, it’s in deep shit already. Newspapers issue warnings of growing crime levels, deepening income split and the risk of a two-tier society. What risk?" If you want to find out more about crime in Dublin, check out dublincrime.com.
Or more simply about supermarkets:
"I felt like an East German in the west in 1989. Shame and embarrassment mixed with greed and lust when I prowled the aisles oh so wide and oh so well stocked.
Bread! Real bakery baked bread!"
All in all, quite droll and worth wasting some time on.
I really enjoy travelling, and found the Andy Hobotraveler.com site.
Andy writes about anything travel-related, such as The Peace Corps experience, girlfriends-for-hire in Togo, finding travel companions and so on and on. Loads of travel resources and tips and three years worth of constant travel blogs.
Go read, then go travel. I am, starting this Friday.
