Lauri and I got our 30 seconds of fame this week when our love story made it into Nerve.com, the web's smartest magazine about sex. Other eyeflare.com news below.

The Nerve.com article

Writer Justin Clark put up a post on Couchsurfing.com (CS) in June asking for people's stories about CS relationships. We got in touch and Justin interviewed Lauri over the phone. Then... we pretty much forgot about it. Last Tuesday, we found out that the article had been published on Nerve.com. Instead of sleeping, we stayed up and excitedly talked about it. I also wrote an article for eyeflare.com: "We have hit a Nerve".

As our love story is quite unusual, it's great fun to see peoples' reactions to hearing it in person. Now, a few tens of thousands have read it.

eyeflare.com updates

eyeflare.com hasn't been updated too frequently in the last few weeks. There have been some changes with my day job and finalising the move has taken up a large amount of time. Happily, I'm starting a better position with an online marketing company this week.
