Shopping on Beverly Boulevard, Los Angeles

Los Angeles is one of the trendiest cities in the United States and certainly the fashion capital of the west coast. When you're in southern California, you'll want to head for Beverly Boulevard to take advantage of the great shopping opportunities there.
Beverly Boulevard's best shopping can be found between Martel and La Brea Avenues. Here there are a variety of high end stores. However, the atmosphere is is more low-key and sophisticated than some of the other shopping streets in the area, so you can browse without pressure.
Peruse the fashionable stores like Naked that carry clothing you would not see outside of European capitals, or walk into Beige and find the trendiest clothes around. While you're shopping, go into Erewhon if you need sustenance. It's the health food place of choice where the food is great but the service is brusque... unless you're a celebrity of some sort.
Don't just do sightseeing when you're in this area. Get dressed in your stylish best and shop (or window shop) like the locals. Beverly Boulevard is a field trip into the world of high style.
