The Espresso Bar on level 4, with balconies overlooking the Thames River, is a great spot to have coffee and take a cheesy photo overlooking the Thames, Millennium Bridge and St Paul's Cathedral across the river.
The Espresso Bar serves drinks, sandwiches and snacks. The coffee is somewhat variable, sometimes coming out far too cold, but it's the only Tate Modern restaurant where you can just grab a quick drink.
Plenty of seating also makes it a good place to rest your legs after walking around the art galleries for a few hours.
