Virgin Galactic's space tourism venture moved a step closer to reality yesterday with the first touch down of SpaceShipTwo at Spaceport America on 22 Oct.

Spaceport America, the future New Mexico private space launch site for Virgin Galactic, Rocket Racing, and XCOR Aerospace, broke ground for construction on 19 June 2009.
