The London Eye

The London Eye and river Thames

The London Eye, located on London's South Bank, just opposite the Houses of Parliament is the largest carrousel in the world and London's most visited tourist attraction. Each revolution takes about half an hour and at the top you get an unmatched panoramic view of the capital, with the Thames gently meandering its way in between the city, stretching all the way out to the countryside.

For New Year's Eve celebrations the London Eye takes the centre stage, the large wheel making new and exciting firework displays possible. If you are planning on visiting at this time of year then this is without a doubt the place to be, join the electric atmospheres in London's biggest party of the year. It cannot be missed.
