Drinking the waters at Bath

The water fountain at Bath's pumproom, you can taste the waters for just 50p

For anyone who wants to drink the waters that from Roman times have been said to possess restorative powers, just head into the Pump Room restaurant in the square outside Bath Abbey.

On one side of the restaurant, the fountain is behind a closed off space.

Simply get the attention of a waiter, and for 50 pence you can drink the waters.

It's very mineral rich, and warm too. Haven't yet figured out whether it did invigorate me though...
