The Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church is one of the most well-known sights of Berlin.

Standing in the very centre of Berlin and dominating the scene as you look down Berlin's Ku'damm, (Kurfürstendamm], the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorical Church was originally built in 1891/95 in honour of the Emperor, William 1st. The church was destroyed by Allied bombing on the 3rd November 1943.
