A simple shot of the Leaning Tower of Pisa taken with my Canon digital compact.
The tower sits on a beautiful square, flanked by the cathedral and a long row of tourist shops. Despite the masses of tourists in this Pisa piazza, Italian and foreign alike, it's a peaceful place in winter.
And yes, the Leaning Tower really is leaning as much as it looks in this photo!
We didn't go up, chosing to explore the grounds and enjoy the winter sun instead. Italy is quickly turning into my favorite travel destination of all.
